Cultivation

Erigeron is grown in the open ground in flower beds, in various flower beds, for cutting. Planted in a permanent place in the fall or early spring. The plant prefers light, non-acidic, fertile, medium loamy soils. In spring and summer, once every 15-20 days, a complex fertilizer is added to the water for irrigation in the amount of 10 g per bucket; it is also used to top up with organic fertilizers several times a season. Plants are planted at a distance of 20-40 cm from each other, depending on the degree of development.

Location

All described species require a place in the open sun.

Temperature

Erigeron is a cold-resistant crop that easily tolerates low air temperature.

Watering

The ground must always be moderately moist, even in the hottest months, so the plant should be watered frequently.

Reproduction

Erigeron propagated by seeds and division of the bush. Divide only adult plants, planting the resulting parts immediately in the ground. Seeds are sown in April outdoors in sandy soil in a shaded area. As soon as the seedlings grow up, they are swooped down, and then planted on a permanent landing site.

Diseases

Various fungi cause rust and stains on the leaves and even plant death. In such cases, treatment is carried out with appropriate fungicides, and in case of serious extensive diseases, infected plants are removed. Powdery mildew of grapes, which causes the appearance of white mold, is cured with anti-oidum drugs.

Acquisition

Give preference to hybrid varieties, they are usually more lush, and their baskets are larger. Choose compact seedlings without signs of diseases.
